Yes, your floors and home are fully protected with us. We carry comprehensive Public Liability and Treatment Risk insurance with coverage up to £5,000,000.

Our Service Guarantee covers all floor restoration services provided by us with limitations and exclusions as described in our Terms & Conditions. This gives you a piece of mind knowing that your floors are in safe hands.

On completion of your service you will receive invoice for the works and we accept card payments, bank transfer or cash.

We always strive to deliver excellent results - this is our main priority. If you are satisfied with your wood floor restoration or floor repair service or would like to give us any feedback don’t forget to place your stars on us.

While we do offer key collection and return service, we strongly advise that either yourself or a representative on your behalf is available during the course of floor restoration services. Also, please note that while we take all reasonable care to ensure that your property is safe and secure, we are not responsible for guarding your property, particularly when there are other builders on site. Therefore, please make sure that you discuss any particular arrangements with us in advance if you are planning to be away during a floor sanding service.

Yes. As a reputable and trusted wood floor sanding company, many of our projects come from insurance companies. We often place specific arrangements in place to ensure that from the very beginning of our projects there is a clarity regarding who will be inspecting the floors once they have been sanded and sealed.

Gap filling with saw-dust and rasin filler on floorboards is exempt from our Service Guarantee.

While working on the surface of your floors during floorboards sanding / repairs and endeavour to make every effort to increase its solidness, before proceeding with the gap filling, it is in fact the solidness of the floor boards, as well as the condition of its support (joists) that will defy the durability of the gap filling, not the quality of the product we use or our service.

To reflect the current supply prices, our quotations are valid fro 60 days only. Should you wish to make a booking after more than 60 days from receiving our quote, please contact a member of our team to check whether the quote is still valid or not.

Yes. We provide re-oiling / re-waxing service for wooden floors, with original oil-based finish. We can also do a site visit to assess if the condition is applicable for re-oiling service or floor sanding and refinishing will be required instead. Please, be prepared with some photos as well, showing the condition of the floors.

To join our networks of flooring professionals, we make sure our local floor restoration technicians comply with the quality, the standard and conduct of our service. As part of the process they must show experience, expertese and skills, good understanding of the floor finishes we use, the floor sanding equipment and the various timber species.

Additional qualifications and courses are a benefit, but as we value our experts based on results, our main focus is on previous experience and eye for detail, which is key to delivering an excellent finish.

In most cases when floor repairs are required we can supply same age of parquet flooring blocks, solid or engineered wood flooring planks. In some cases we may need to produce planks or blocks from same timber material, to match the existing flooring.

If we cannot find the same product or material, we can supply the closest timber and do a close colour match with floor staining.

For residential restoration services, floor finishing requires 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of lacquer. The final sheen of the product is defined by the lacquer and available options are extra-matt, matt, satin and gloss.

For commercial restoration services, our floor finishing service will apply 1 coat of primer and 3 coats of commercial grade lacquer. Commercial floor finishes are available in extra-matt, matt and satin.

Extra coats are available on request and we do not recommend application of more than 5 coats of lacquer (including primer). The list of all floor finishes we use is available here.

Our standard sanding and oiling service includes 2 coats of clear hardwax-oil or 1 coat of colour oil followed by 1 coat of clear oil. Ocassionally we can increase the number of coats depending on the timber species we are sealing.

Extra coat of hardwax-oil is also available on request.

Yes, our team is available to help move larger pieces of furniture out of the areas or we can complete the works in stages, in case the furniture cannot be moved out of the area.

Completing the restoration works in stages will normally add an extra day, in some cases more days.

During the restoration service, the floors can be take light traffic, which is not disruptive for the service.

During the process of sealing the floors can be used only between the coats and after application of final coat the floors can take foot traffic in 2 hours for lacquered floors and (depending on air humidity / season) 5-8 hours for hardwax-oil.

Furniture should go back in place on the following day.

Yes, we can supply matching blocks for most solid and engineered herringbone flooring. Usually after herringbone floor repairs, the floors may need to be sanded, gap filled and re-sealed for achieving uniform appearance to the floor.

Yes, our sanding and sealing service is available to book throughout a weekend, however these works are noisy and usually noise restrictions apply in flats and residential areas with blocks.

If you property is a house, we highly encourage to inform your neighbours for the upcoiming works.

Yes, mosaic fingers are quite common assets and very often they go through some repairs. Gap filling is always recommend for this type of floor after the repairs.

We can also supply matching material, in case its missing.

Yes, if you are planning to remove a fireplace hearth and you have parquet flooring, floorboards or planked flooring we may be able to help.

After the repairs, with matching the floor spare material, the floors will need to be sanded and refinished.

Yes, in our floorboards repairs service we only work with seasoned pine material, which will reflect age and colour of your existing boards as close as possible.

If the natural colour of the boards is not a good match, we can also adjust it local staining.

For re-oiling we use hardwax-oil and maintenance oil from Osmo, Bona and Loba brands, which are all available in matt and satin sheens.

Yes, with our floor restoration service we can remove and dispose old carpets, vinyl, laminate or wooden flooring.

Yes, we do supply and installation of matching the floor doorbars and scotia beading.

Lead times can vary, but usually we accommodate works within 2 weeks even in the summer when there is higher demand for the service. We do get cancellations and availability can be random, best is to check with member of the team if your floor restoration works are urgent.
